huddle (www.huddle.net) is a distinctive web-based workspace for project teams, freelancers, consultants, agencies, clubs and any other business network that needs team members to work together. The technology was developed out of recognition that individuals and companies are still suffering from a range of problems when trying to get internal and external teams working together efficiently and successfully.
Friendly to both PC and Mac users, huddle is an easy-to-use secure online service that works like a social network, but includes powerful collaboration tools that enable project teams to get stuff done. Features include full document tracking for editing, a shared whiteboard for blogging and brainstorming, a calendar that assigns tasks, tracks them and issues reminders as well as a keyword search tool. Users can create multiple huddle groups for different projects, while viewing them from one single dashboard.
Established in 2006, huddle’s growing client base includes manufacturing companies, large legal, PR, advertising and media firms as well as sports teams, community groups and individual freelancers. Straightforward package pricing depends on the number of users in the huddle and data storage requirements.
