Tribold Showcases Product Portfolio Management Solution at 3GSM World Congress
3rd February 2006
Tribold, the product lifecycle management software leader, will be exhibiting its product lifecycle management solutions at this year’s 3GSM in Barcelona. The technology is rapidly gaining acceptance from communications service providers that need to gain greater control over product lifecycles and decrease time to market.
Visitors to Stand J91 will be able shown new methodologies for tracking the lifecycle of products in the mobile telecommunications sector and can see Tribold’s Product Portfolio Manager™ in action.
Simon Muderack, CEO of Tribold, said: “Rapid change in the mobile communications industry means service providers are becoming retailers in their own right. They need a 360 degree view of their products in order to speed time to market and maximise product success. We are in such a competitive market that so many products are going unchecked, but mobile service providers cannot continue this approach without sacrificing competitive edge.”
Analyst group IDC estimates the product lifecycle management and product data management market to be worth $800 million this year, growing 25 per cent year on year until 2007.
About Tribold Product Portfolio Manager™
Tribold Product Portfolio Manager (PPM) reduces time to market for Telco products by up to 12 months. This provides customers with a significant competitive edge, greatly simplifying what is currently an expensive, time consuming and people intensive process when bringing new products to market. It helps them to be more strategic and monitor the performance of products once released. Tribold PPM manages the key elements of product launch: design, build, launch, in-life management, retirement and analysis.
