Fast-track to investment workshop

Catalyst Venture Partners have joined forces with technology lawyers Osborne Clark, innovation incubators SETsquared (a collaboration between the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Southampton and Surrey), the venture capital fund Eden Ventures, and HSBC bank to run a workshop aimed at 20 fast growth technology companies who are seeking funding. The workshop will help the selected companies to refine their business plans with the objective of increasing their chances of success when 'pitching' to investors. Companies will compete for a place on the free workshop by submitting their business plan. The CEO of the overall winner will take part in a Williams's race day.
The workshop will focus upon:
- Developing a fast growth strategy
- Getting the management team right
- How to raise funding
- Negotiating a funding deal
